With a relentless focus on innovation, transparency, and client-centricity, we're revolutionizing the way legal services are delivered.

Founded by Frankie Arvelo, a seasoned attorney with a dual background in law and business (Penn JD/Texas MBA) and more importantly, the founder of Rise.  He knows what it is like to run a business starting at formation.

Due to this, Rise Attorneys understands and is committed to breaking down barriers and propelling our clients toward success. We're dedicated to helping your company thrive in today's competitive entrepreneurial landscape.

Traditional law firms often adopt a one-size-fits-all approach, resulting in transactional relationships and inefficiencies. Essentially clients are numbers in a spreadsheet.

What Makes Us Different

At Rise, we recognize that founders often face apprehension when engaging legal counsel due to opaque pricing, budget constraints, and a lack of caring about their actual clients. That's why we've pioneered a better way to serve entrepreneurs and startups. We see our clients as partners and treat them as such. Your success is ours.

Therefore we go beyond the conventional hourly attorney-client relationship. We embody the roles of trusted counselors, providing strategic guidance that considers both legal and overall business perspectives. We're innovative, proactive, and are driven to bring value to your company.

As your strategic counsel, we're dedicated to empowering you and supporting your innovations and ideas.

With our subscription packages, we provide ongoing guidance aligned with your business needs and goals.

Additionally, we offer flat-fee pricing for specific projects, including customized "bundles" of popular services tailored to your unique needs.

Utilizing the same tech stack as our clients ensures seamless communication and collaboration.

We prioritize clear and consistent communication, guiding you through the legal landscape to maximize your resources and achieve your business objectives.

As the founder of Rise Attorneys, my mission is to equip startup founders with the tools and support they need to thrive in today's competitive landscape. I am deeply committed to championing your vision and guiding you through the legal intricacies of building a successful company.

With years of experience in the field, I've assisted countless founders in navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship. My expertise spans a wide-range of areas, including entity formation, financing, corporate governance, commercial agreements, HR, dispute resolution, and mergers & acquisitions.

Prior to establishing Rise Attorneys, I was a Partner at Richards Rodriguez & Skeith LLP and held pivotal roles at Egan Nelson LLP. I honed my skills in high-stakes transactions totaling over $900M.

  • Partnership, transparency, and innovation are at the forefront of my approach. I believe in open pricing and offer flexible options to accommodate founders' needs. Leveraging technology like Carta, I strive to streamline processes and keep costs manageable, ensuring that you're only billed for essential legal work.

My educational journey includes a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and an M.B.A. from the esteemed Texas McCombs School of Business. I currently serve as a guest lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Wharton Business School, sharing insights on early-stage financing.

I am deeply involved in supporting the startup community, and I serve as a mentor at DivInc, an accelerator program focusing on social impact, and lend my expertise to organizations like MassChallenge, Techstars, and Capital Factory. I've also been privileged to contribute as a former advisory council member for Women@Austin and as general counsel for Beam, an angel network in Austin supporting women entrepreneurs.

My passion for empowering underrepresented founders stems from my personal experiences with poverty and the frustration of being underestimated. It is my deep personal commitment to be an advocate for underrepresented founders and a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

When I'm not immersed in the world of startups and law, you'll find me embracing life in beautiful Austin, TX with my two young kids and my lovely wife, Leah.
